| The Procedure
The operation is performed in a hospital or clinic
operating room, under general anaesthia or sedation.
It will require about 45 minutes. The incisions
are usually within the nose, and most modifications
can be made without visible scarring.
Post-operatively there are swelling and bandages
for one week, but usually little pain. Surprisingly,
although the nose looks good as soon as the bandages
are removed, it takes six months to one year to
see the final shape.
